Farmer’s Dance

A performance of the farmers’ dance at Korean Folk Village. Korean Folk Village’s goal  is to display elements of traditional Korea life and culture. Loving their costumes and their swirling head pieces! Will be back in Korea soon. Can’t wait for spring! :)

Star Wars craze

To tell you the truth I haven’t watched all Star Wars episode yet (Will watch them all this summer), but my love for the characters is simply growing… and I don’t know why. Here’s some of my new Darth Vader things that Dad gave me this month.

The LED Darth Vader key chain - which I will keep here in the four walls of my glass shelf (I don’t want to use it – people might steal it. HAHA) and the Darth Vader watchwhich amazingly fits my wrist! It also comes with a Darth Vader Lego figurine plus his mini Red Light Saber!!! How cute is that?! <3

Jack’s Loft

This is my second time to visit Jack’s Loft. The first one was in Robinson’s Ermita and now here in il Terrazo Tomas Morato.  Jack’s Loft is a bar slash restaurant known for their fried ice cream and other delicious cakes.  I visited the place again to have dinner with my family. And no, we didn’t have any cocktail drinks whatsoever. :P

The colorful and cozy bar slash restaurant ambiance.

Seven Wonders of the world by a child

Some students were asked to list what they thought were the present “Seven Wonders of the World.” Though there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:

1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids

2. Taj Mahal

3. Grand Canyon

4. Panama Canal

5. Empire State Building

6. St. Peter’s Basilica

7. China’s Great Wall

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The girl replied, “Yes, a little. I couldn’t quite make up my mind because there were so many.”

The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help.” The girl hesitated, then read, “I think the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ are:

1. To See

2. To Hear

3. To Touch

4. To Taste

5. To Feel

6. To Laugh

7. And to Love.”

The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that we take for granted are truly wondrous!

A gentle reminder — that the most precious things in life cannot be built by hand or bought by man. :)

Disneyland’s toy kingdom

If you love Mickey and Minnie! Tadaaaahhh!!!

I love entering each and every shop in Disneyland! Loving the aircon inside! haha! And the countless stuff toys, figurines, pens, cookies, key chains, shirts, bags, practically everything that you can buy as “pasalubong” (it’s like a coming home gift :P )

Presenting my collection! I mean, Disney’s collection!!!! WOW Cutie Patoooie!!!! <3

Picture loving..

While waiting for our turn to ride the train.. took a shot of the people below. Look at the long line waiting to have their pictures taken with Mickey and Minnie!!! Indeed, patience is a must here in Disneyland! :p

Since the weather was hot that day, people who brought their umbrellas were relieved from the heat. If you don’t have one.. just buy in the small shops, they sell lots of Disney umbrellas. Take your pick! :)
